What is the difference between the Jango Gauntlets and the Boba Gauntlets???

Hey Guys,

New to the forum. Besides color, what are main differences between Jango Fetts Gauntlets and Boba Fett? Could I use Boba Fetts Gauntlets in place of Jango's if I painted them Silver Grey? Let me know Thanks....

What are these differences if you don't mind taking the time to ellaborate... I'm in the middle of this same discussion with one of my friends. I think they're the same EXACT Cutlets.

All I see besides a difference in paint/weathering is Jango doesn't have a little keypad in front of the rocket on his left gauntlet while Boba does. Also Boba doesn't have the big dart on the outside of his right gauntlet whereas Jango does. Only two differences I see after comparing a bunch of pictures. (Comparison between ROTJ Boba and Episode II Jango).

look on fettpride.com at the two up close...the shapes are different everywhere theres seams on the right that arent on Bobas the ESB is obviously way different on the left than jangos the ROTJ looks similar but again different

Does anyone have both so they could do a side by side. And of course I mean two quality, movie accurate, sets like Cruzer vs FP vs MOW.

I know there is an old thread that compared ROTJ gaunts manufactured by different guys to each other.

it depends on how picky you are.

on the surface, to a casual viewer, they are very similar.

to the more hardcore, they have nothing in common but the overall shape. all of the details are 100% different.

you can easily look at pics of both in the gallery here. there are TONS of reference pics of both suits in there with plenty of detail on the gauntlets. asking someone else to do the work of making a comparison for you isn't likely to get very far

Also the flamethrower box is very different in shape and has hoses and there is no calc pad. On the right gauntlet there are two small darts in the front besides the other four and gaunt has very distinct lines and grooves.

Give me another year to build up a Boba and I would happily take the pictures.

really???? That kinda suprises me in some ways. I know that each of the costumes is a considerable investment but I just expected there would be a handful of guys out there with both. Now this gives me a goal.

Also, Jangos gaunts have way sharper angles... Boba's would have to be sanded to create more angular and less rounded details... That is why vacformed Jango gaunts don't look "accurate" unless you fiberglass them and sand them to crisp angles.

Yes you can take the Boba Fett gauntltes version ROTJ, use silver color and of course you most study the diferences, 1: the Kamino saber darts in the right, 2: the left gautlet dont have the key pad, 3: the right gauntlets don have the little pin head at the topo of the piece. another question let me know to send you images.

Its like the helmet and the rest of the armour at first glance to some one who hasnt spent many many hours studying them apart from the colours they look the same but once you know them or were to place them to gether you could see that there totaly difrent in all aspects,

Hello my friend, look: a) Check Boba left gauntlet have a key pad and Jango dont., b) Jango Right gautlets have the Kamino saber dart and Boba dont.
