I don't know either. My guess is that the threads are as timeless as the movies, and even though it's old, still holds relevance. An old thread may have a little piece of a puzzle that your missing. Like that 1500 piece puzzle you've been working on for months and you find that last piece under your couch cuz your cat batted it under there...

And tying the concepts together... is it just me, or were the disagreements between ESB vs ROTJ Fett more passionate a decade ago than they are today? I know a little of it was tongue in cheek a while back, but everybody seems cool with other people's different lifestyle choices.
