I know someone who has found a pretty darn close fabric for the jumpsuits. Right now he is working on acquiring it in the right color rather than dying it. I've got my fingers crossed that he finds it.
Yep, I gotta concur with the above. It's a light grey in ROTJ. I'm currently using a JC Pennys Big Mac jumpsuit that I modified. I've heard they're not selling these anymore, but I haven't checked to be sure. Does anyone know if they're still being sold?
The only thing I don't like is that the material doesn't breath very well. I find that that at times my Trooper suit is cooler than my Fett jumpsuit!
Take care,

My beautiful sister has agreed to help me sew up a jumpsuit is there a pattern that works for that? Also what type of fabric IE: color, 100% cotton, blend? what i am trying to say is... HELP!
Cotton Twill was used on the original (or so it has been said). As for the pattern...not sure. I think some have used a jumpsuit/ski suit pattern by Green Pepper. Another found one from Simplicity (but I've heard that's not made anymore).
edit:::
here's a pic of the actual fabric for Boba:
If yer doing Jango...I don't think I really have a good shot of that yet.
Try these - Simplicity 8745 (discontinued, but some shops may still have copies) and McCalls 2336. Pretty sure they're jumpsuits? (I knew I put these on my noticeboard for a reason...) Phil
thx, i couldn't find the Simplicity pattern and the McCalls was for a tight fitting batman looking costume so i went with the green pepper pattern, and with the help of my sister i can probably modify it fairly easily to work for boba fett.
The pattern only cost me 3.50 and today i am going to go to the 2 dollar fabric store to get some material (the ROTJ is grey cotton twill correct?)
I entered joann fabrics and came out alive, Praise the Lord
