What book are you currently reading?

The title of the thread's pretty self-explanatory. I figure this might evolve into a pretty decent thing here, so here goes nothing.


Right now I'm reading the third book in the X-Wing series, "The Krytos Trap" by Micheal A. Stackpole. I'm pretty sure I've read this book in the past, because it's pretty well worn. So it's been a while and I'm reading it again because I finally have the complete series and I'm reading it the whole way through. The series so far is really good, well written, and the action is very compelling. Good read so far, which is why I stay glued to the books and it only takes me about a day and a half to complete.


Just to clear things up, this thread is not limited to just Star Wars related books, you can post about any book you're reading at the moment. It's just that I'm going to be reading a lot of Star Wars books for a while to come, seeing as I've been able to purchase quite a few recently. So feel free to post about any book, I look forward to seeing what you guys are reading.

This is an amazing book. I have read it 3 times already. Reading it again just in time for Dragon Con. but sadly, no Dragon Con for me this year.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Star Wars: Omen

I've read Harry already and am just reading it because I saw the movie. I'm not too crazy about the Star Wars book. Its slow I feel.

Rarely, and I mean RARELY do I read SW EU stuff, the only one I have read was Tale of the Bounty Hunters, but I just happened to be sent this while I was in Iraq...

And began to pick it back up and read it again, quite an interesting read to say the least

I bought Jedi Twilight a while ago in Wal-Mart, but I've yet to read it. When it comes to Star Wars books, when I know that they are part of a series, I refrain from reading them until I own all of the books in that particular series. Gates of Fire really looks like a good read, I might have to pick that one up. Along with my love for Star Wars, I also really like history and the like, and the Battle at Thermopylae is one that I'm really interested in (even before the movie 300).

Seeker, that is a truly amazing book, the Spartans were the Mandos of old.

I am reading "Clone Wars" by Karen Traviss, "Pull up a Sandbag" by Jonathon Smiles (a collection of humourous short tales from the British Military) and "The Corps" - Battlecorps anthology Vol 1.

What can I say? I'm a consumate reader.

"Too Fat to Fish" by Artie Lange

Whether you're a Howard Stern Fan( as I am) or not, this book is amazing.
