Hello everyone !!!

I've finally finished the project we started before quarantine , the Jango fett helmet

My friend did the 3D modeling ( "stormprops" on facebook ) and I did the finishing, molding, cast , assembly and paint.

We tried to make the sculpt the more accurate we could ! Also it was my first time using aluminium powder to do coldcast so the first finished cast is not perfect yet ^^

More like a prototype I'll keep for my own collection

Did you paint the black stripes? I usually just use 1/8in black automotive pin striping for that.

Yes, I painted them , that was the only thing missing and didn't have strip tape in stock :/ so as I'm a bit impatient , I've painted them.

On the next one I'll use strip tape

Thats awesome work! Could you describe what you arent happy about with the cast? As I wasnt able to see any noticable flaws.

That's just the aluminium powder, there is some spots where she didn't stayed in the mold so you see resine and not very much aluminium sometimes.

But that's really just tiny spots and was first time doing coldcast
