I believe the coated Twill is used for iron on letters for jerseys.
My sister used that stuff years ago when she worked for a big sporting goods store.
You are correct the coated is used for That but becuase it has a backing it would make the vest a little stiffer which would help support the armor....Batninja is sending me a swatch of what he used to make some of the vests..I will compare it to the samples i have and determine which it is.
for and average size medium vest it takes about 2 yards assuming this comes at least 45" wide or wider...It really depends on your size.I would say medium would be 2 yards large 2.5-3 and Xl 3+....But you may want to order a bit more to do a neck seal.

It is the un-coated stuff so the price is 7.50 a yard.My paypal address is jason@skygunbros-custom-creatures.com once we get enough to order the minimum of 20 yards ill order it.
Also remember we need enough people to get 20 yards and they need to pay before I will order.So if you want in please try and pay right away so we dont have to keep others waiting.I can also order 5 yard increments over the minimum 20 yards so if there are more people than there is material we can get some extra.
Also please remember this will come to me in a bolt I will cut what people order and ship it out so I will need addiontal funds from each to cover shipping to you. $8.00 should cover it ill ship USPS priority mail with confirmation.

I can ship to him.....youll have to take that up with him and let me know.I compared the swatch Bat sent me to the colors I have and I have a color that is nearly identical.

nearly identical is close enough for me, may just be the difference in dye lots. I'll get ahold of Eric (and more importantly my wife for the OK) and let you know
Talked with Batninja he is willing to do some vest. I as well can sew vests. So between the both of us we can get anyone covered who needs our services.So this will help if we end up getting a dozen people that way bat wont have to do all of them.
