Velcro armor attachment

I am in the attachment phase of my ROTJ Boba Fett. Having finally purchased my armor set and flak vest, I've decided on the velcro method of attaching the armor plating. If anyone would be willing to help in where to place the velcro both on the vest and on the back of the armor plates? That'd be awesome, thank you!

Personally, I would not recommend velcro. I tried it and out was pretty bad lol velcro doesn't give any wiggle room. I'd go grommets and bolts personally. Looks clean and gives better movement IMO. :)

I did the velcro method on both my Boba vests over the years. I used the industrial sticky back velcro on the armor. I also used the opposite side sticky back velcro on the vest. What I did was have the velcro stuck on the armor and the cover tape peeled off the velcro that was going onto the vest and have someone else position the 4 chest plates and the collar plate onto me while I wore it. Then, when I had the basic velcro stuck in place on the vest (not overly pushed hard to stick), I then slowly peeled most of the velcro back from where it was laid on the vest and backed it with contact cement. It sticks solid.

There were a couple snaps I eventually put into the vest as well. The inside left chestplate corner would pop out due to the chest lights being mounted there, so that single snap holds it down. Then years later put a single snap on the outside edges of the ab plate to keep it more flush onto the vest (with my skinny body) so the blaster buttstock doesn't pull it away.
