Custom Mandalorian update!!! bigboydodge EVA FOAM custom mando almost done!!!!! (pic heavy)

This is my first attempt at ever building any sort of costume. I've heard alot of nay-saying about EVA foam, but i tried it anyway because it's fairly cheap, and if i totally bombed it, it wouldn't cost me a very much $$$ to start over. I'm a OTR truck driver so i only have time to work on this on my days off but this is what i've got. please let me know what you think!!

i didn't like the regular fett style pauldrons so i free handed this one, i'm a sniper so i'm only going to have 1 pauldron on my left shoulder

i still have a few pieces to finish up but i'm trying to get it finished for Salt Lake COMICON. any thoughts or input is appreciated. I'll post some weapon pics later on

Looks great man! I do like your 'desert' colour palette. What else are you thinking for soft textures? I like that you wrapped your gun - sweet. Also - is there a way to create a bracket or some kind of shell around your phone? I really like the idea, but it still has that "this is a phone" look to it. Keep it up! I love looking at custom builds!

This really turned out nice!...One thing that stuck out to me was the jagged seam on the JP...was this a "weathered" touch or did you have a hard time with the cut? If the latter, you can order surgical blades online which really make a nice unobstructed cut..usually 3-5 cute before switching out...great work.

I dig the color scheme. Looks really good. I'm going to do my first build with EVA as well just to get the feel of it. Glad to see such success with it already. Keep it up, man!

i love it when the kids get excited about the builds. my kids want to see what i have competed whenever I'm working on my deathwatch helmet. great stuff
