Can anyone post a sniper making tutorial as a reply to this thread. Oh andf make sure the tutorial is on the cheap.

I hope I'm not being ignorant, but do you mean a sniper rifle, or like an army sniper costume...?

if you're up for a video tutorial, check out BFX on youtube. This webshow shows you how to make cheap props out of household items, and, although I'm pretty sure they haven't done a sniper rifle tutorial, they had done pistol, shotgun, and rocket launcher tutorials, so you can probably pick up some tips from them.
Another option would be an airsoft sniper rifle (similar to a bb gun, but modeled after real guns). these can be kinda pricy, though, but you might be able to find one that doesn't work for cheap.

TK-409 has a quick tutorial on his site on how he made his MG-15. It's not for sniping, but the same principals his goes over applies to most props. Also, in the tut, he has a link to a site that you can get realistic replica/toy guns for cheap. You might start there.
