I am hoping to get more feedback on the paintjob of the pictured helmet. As before, I am only trying to satisfy Basic 501st criteria for now. Thank you.
Well, might be wasting time by updating this thread in hopes of feedback, but I did want to seek input on my first full suit-up. My concerns include the girth belt spacing, cape length, overall fit of soft goods, and jetpack paint job. The helmet and gloves are already slated to be replaced, so they are merely placeholders in the photos below.
I figure, from here, I might replace the girth belt and tighten the jetpack harness straps to get a snugger fit. I’m also going to weather the Boba thong and rear knew straps.
Not to mention the incoming glove and helmet replacements. Is it safe to say I may be nearing a point wherein I might be ready for submission? Not necessarily approval as I do not expect to get through on my first attempt.
Thank you! Unfortunately, the helmet has a variety of minute details that are painted incorrectly and thus disqualify it from 501st approval. I am having it replaced in due time. I appreciate your compliments and input though.
Well, after much modification, improvisations, and replacements, I did reach the end goal a few weeks ago. For those of you that have helped me in amy capacity, I greatly appreciate it!

I ultimately made changes to all of the concerns that were aired here. The girth belt, the weathering on the knee and thong straps, the gloves, the gauntlets (i.e. flame unit placement, left switch on left gauntlet, small paint details), and some small paint details on the jetpack.
I have lots of photos of the finished product, but I stopped documenting my progress here after the last fitting. You can see more details on my BHG thread here:
Even there though, I stopped posting after feedback seemed burnt out. I focused alot more of my time in making changes using the CRL and screen references.
