Just wanted to post this here. It took about a month to make and it wasn't an easy build. Found the fiberglass armor on Ebay and got the helmet from Dave's Armory. The armor wasn't very straight or symmetrical but for the price, it was workable. Most of the build time was used for fitting the fiberglass pieces to my 5'3" son. Didn't even use the mid section in the back. Most of the armor came in 2 halves and had to be fiber glassed together, then filled and sanded. The belt boxes and forearm com pad were cut on my CNC router. I still need to add a few details to the boots and make a nice back plate panel. Here are some pics of the process.

Looks great. Improvements - from the 501 image it looks like you need more weathering; especially on the feet.

Yeah, didn't have time to get all the weathering done. Had to get the belt done right up til the last minute. It does have some nice "natural" wear from the armor rubbing together in places but does need more scuffs and weathering. The shoes still need the strap across the top and the small flaps in the top middle.
