I agree, although I can happily let the minor differences slide since it is a nice improvement over the TMS2 ones I do wish some of our armour vendors had a part in designing the look for his show.
I figured a contributing factor for the change in the width/flare may have to do with making it proportional to Tem's body size since Jango's was the same being straight...but that might not actually be the case since as BF22 pointed Its clear they're trying to make the helmet shapes fairly consistent with each other now. You never know the more the show goes on the more they'll improve the costume...this is confirmed as a "season 1" after all.

Well, your ear platforms dont look to be the same.... Hard to say that as you dont have the helmets exactly at the same distances from the camera and such and theyre angled a bit. But to my ruler and eye they dont look to be the same, which since they used MCR ears they would be.

Sorry your eyes and rulers must be wrong, cause they are exactly the same measurement , i also have the MCR to take references.

So the boots... It almost seems as if there's a squared off toe cap with ridges that are similar to the Nortiv's from TMS2, but maybe a nod to his OT boots?

I noticed that too, there appears to be a total overhaul on the boots. They're no longer the Nortiv8s anymore they appear to be completely new. Damn I miss the toe spikes. I've heard that costume designer Shawna Trpcic has apparently said the new costume was rebuilt from the ground up for TBOBF. Meaning all of it is custom made. I don't know if this is 100% true but it seems likely to be the case. Curious to see if any more changes occur during the first season.

Wouldn't surprise me at all, and it's growing on me everyday... They definitely look almost like a "Reebok" or UA type tactical boot with a molded/glued on toe. Make more sense from a production sense, off the shelf boots that are solid performers for comfort and action scenes with a deco piece that can be repeatedly poured and glued on.

I don't disagree lol a lot of the Mandos appear to me as badly madly toys with most of the covert Mandalorians not looking Mandalorian to me outside of their helmets. Season 2 Din and the Nite Owls definitely Look Mandalorian to me but the season 1 armor just looks bad to me

Cant believe Im actually for once the first guy to post something. Oh well, here it is:

Definitive proof to the age old question of how Bob (yes, thats Bob, not Boba, not a typo. People who know me, know why.) gets on his armor. He's got not one, but TWO droids helping him!

I wonder if anyone is gonna replicate that Anyone up for the challenge?

Another first interesting point in the new series: we get to see more of his sarlacc damaged original suit!
(I wonder how much critisim thats gonna attract, lol)

On a different not: I really like the look of the stuff that Fennec is drinking. (And that Cobb was drinking if I rememver correctly?) Anyone got any info on that?

BTW: Did anyone here realize where Boba Fett is standing when we see him in his post-Sarlacc ROTJ flight suit? It goes by so fast, I initially didn't notice. But here you go...an AMAZING callback to a cut scene from the original 1977 Star Wars...

I stand corrected on the boots; NOT Oakley's, Merrell MOAB FST Ice type boots. Not my discovery, some folks on the FB page nailed it. They're out of production but you can still find some in the wild.
