They're still using the exact same repaired/patched damage on his green jetpack?
Which doesn't make sense to me considering the repaired ROTJ one is quite clearly spotted in the background of chapter 15 of TMS2.
I always thought the green one was meant to be his refurbished ESB but that had the same patch up job on it too in Season 2 of Mando.
The Book of Boba one though, has got some design elements from Bo-Katan's it seems...
Also weirdly enough looks like the middle part is on top of the repair job so i guess its part of the design now?? Its very strange. I guess we're led to assume he only has 1 jetpack but who's to say Fett wouldn't go out of his way and reinforce the weakest part of the jetpacks so that **** wouldn't happen again lol...
I think its still the classic Z-6 though but maybe Fett modded it with the newest parts available for it so it lasts longer. He's constantly upgrading and switching up his gear even in the expanded universe but I must say I'm a bit perplexed on why all his new jetpacks have the same exact repair job to them. This is obviously something that has been discussed while under going the build for the show, I'd like to know the reason for these odd decisions. Could just be a simple matter of we just put the repaired ROTJ one in background of Mando S2 for the hell of it but i don't think so at all.

The shows source the costumes through studios like Legacy and Ironhead. One of the studios that bought from us found our products listed here on TDH. A longtime customer of ours worked for another one of the studios and referred them to us - they used one of our parts for the Bo Katan costume in TMS2 and then reached out again when working on this costume.

I love this new-ish look but I also hate it, because I sit and look at the box of parts I was starting to work on for the TMS2 Boba Fresh... But ahh well. There's been some discussion on the FB costuming page as well, especially about the paint colors and the girth belt and any/all changes so it's good to see a lot of folks on this.
It really looks as if Tem dropped some weight and they've possible gone back to the flightsuit soft parts?

That first re-paint of the armor and him strolling off Slave 1 is still one of my favorite moments in all of Star Wars. I finished my fresh Boba a month or two ago and very happy to have it. No need for me to adjust to the BoBF looks(s). I wonder how many variants we will see?

Plenty I bet. It’s definitely good to have him back on the board. Very interested in that rubber armor, I still remember the pinch points of ROTJ kit.

Tem is actually in shape. Its just the robe and armour on top that made him look like a tank in S2.
The newly improved costume definitely slims him down though which helps his physique much better.

Not to go too far off topic, but if someone ever produces screen accurate finished rubber armor and gauntlets for the classic Fetts I will empty my wallet with extreme prejudice.

Overall, I am still not a fan of Boba's new look in the live action TV series. I think putting him in a Tusken Raider tan would have been more appropriate with the fact that he had been traipsing around on Tatooine for years while also carrying multiple Tusken weapons. The Mythos version of Boba Fett honestly would have been the perfect transition to our new live action Boba. The decision to attach the shoulder armor to the flight suit and not his flak vest has been throwing me off a lot as well - also the flak vest doesn't look like a flak vest anymore. It just looks more like fabric that the armor is attached too as opposed to another section of soft body armor like it is supposed to be.
I do really like the outer etching on the shoulder plates though. Neat addition while keeping that classic look. Montross actually has the same etching on his chest plates in the Star Wars Bounty Hunter game.

This is a “for fun” helmet but figured I’d share. Still waiting on reference of the top and back to finish the helmet, then I’ll add the ears.. I do plan to do a proper take on this helmet once the show is out and a proper cast is available. This is just a ROTJ helmet with the damage cleaned up for now.

Just a comparison between my Book of boba fett Acurrate size Helmet (ASH), and an Original trilogy Lineage helmet, and also with my mando helmet.
The 3D model started from my acurrate empire model ,I convert that model to book of boba look using multiple image references , and I think I know what iron head did to this helmet , kind of like they gave the helmet a mando look , hope you guys like it , thanks

why they would do this is beyond me. Looks so... wrong. It might grow on me still, but that doesnt change the fact that the OT just looks better.

yeah, that seems the most off-putting. Then there is the elongation thing, but I really think the T opening is the worst culprit.
Then again... It might grow on me. I REALLY didnt like the Cobb outfit at first and now its my favourite "Boba" from the recent itterations weve seen.

Well, your ear platforms dont look to be the same.... Hard to say that as you dont have the helmets exactly at the same distances from the camera and such and theyre angled a bit. But to my ruler and eye they dont look to be the same, which since they used MCR ears they would be.
