Kill stripes. I started w orange with a little added red. Painted base coat then misted more red.

Took some steel wool to the kill stripes to tone down the kill stripe color

And one more. I've learned a lot painting this lid. One lesson is being more precise on the kill strip measurements. However if you look at the reference photos of the rotj they are all Un even.

They are indeed. Not only that, some are a little crooked too. I remember replicating and masking out the un-evenness and crookedness of those bad boys, took me ages to get right when I painted mine.. Great job tho brother, the lid is looking awesome!
