Taking My Best Shot: Robo's ESB Fett

Ive never had a D bracket snap or break from the weight of the blaster. Obviously any rough play or maybe even a good drop may break it, but being coldcast in 65D there will be a little flex by design. honestly, I wouldnt worry.

I can't help but worry, but I'll try not to!

This is incredibly cool. *stares at things and stalks and stuff*
Stalk away! I've done more than my fair share of stalking on these boards *cough* Matty Matt *cough*

Great work on the EE-3 blaster and sidearm ,well done
Great weathering work.
Thanks, guys! I want to take my BH application photos already!!!

I acquired some sweet toe spikes from Major and now my boots are completely done! I can't believe I'm a set of knee darts, some stud attachments, and a jetpack beacon away from completion!!!! All of those items should be on their way from DarkSide as I'm typing this so my fingers are crossed that the shipping process goes smoothly.

I may suit up tonight and see how things are looking overall. I'm almost positive I need to grunge areas up more.

I've felt for a while now that my flight suit needed to be dirtier. It looked pretty decent to see it in person, but if it doesn't look dirty enough in photos, it's not dirty enough. I weathered it quite a bit more. I also weathered the neck seal and knocked it down a bit with Dullcote.

After a quick test fit, I realized that my jet pack sits too low. I'll have to tear apart my harness and relocate the straps and ring locations. Some reference photos show the pack a bit low, which angles the rocket away for the body, but most pics have it sitting a bit higher, a better look, I believe. Here is a family photo of almost all of my pieces (the flight suit is still hanging in the garage to dry):

And the test fit:

I think my next post will be my submission photos (fingers crossed).

That suit looks amazing on you!

A couple of things that needs to be repositioned: the sidearm should sit at the back side of the right hip pouch, while the hip pouches hang way too low (on the original suit you don't see the pouch flaps):

Also, the chest plates should be rotated a bit until the lower flap fits the abdominal plate's shape:

Hey, that is a great fit! Congratulations. I have been messing with my armor all night trying to get it in the right spots. You have motivated me to keep on going. What is your height and weight if you do not mind sharing?

Keep going! My height is about 5'11" and my weight is around 155 or so. Hope that helps.
