Work started on the guns. These are toy guns with all marking removed and holes filled in with bondo, sanded, primed and ready for paint. I’m so mean:devil I had my Daughter hand sand the guns until she got bored then I busted out the power palm sander.

Awesome build so far! I just watched the "movie" and I suspect I'll be building one myself once the wife watches it too. I may find myself building one of these before I even get started on my own Boba. Keep us posted on the progress.

Also, is that a repurposed Bo Katan helmet or a heavily modded boba/jango?

I found a seller on line offering a “Sabine Wren” helmet kit, I thought great, click Pay Now. Let’s me just say it’s really really rough. This helmet I found needed more attention, corrections to details and bondo then any other helmet I have ever worked with. I’m still just trying to get the dome round enough so I can primer it. That’s just my heads up, it’s still better then starting with nothing. I'm hoping Cruzer comes out with his Sabine helmet soon. He hited at working on one lets cross our fingers.

Syper, It looks great. I am currently making the same armor for my 9 year old daughter. I used the Bo Katan helmet with a few modifications. Any tips?

Everything looks great Brother, just keep doing what your doing! With my Sabine build I catch myself wanting to be super accurate and I have to stop myself. Both of our kids are just nine and they are going to be happy and their not going to understand or care about fine details. I'm obsessive compulsive and this build could take me years if I let it but by then we are both going to have bigger teen girl issue
Have fun and she will always have this memory of her Dad being super cool making a costume for her.I just cut out my EVA foam, going to shape it today. I am concerned that the helmet i'm using may be too large.

Thanks Syper. Yeah, I am the same way. I want to be accurate and I know before years end she might not even fit into her Gear anymore and I will need to build new one or she might want custom armor. (This being most likely when she sees me working on my armor). You are right. as long as we get the basic look for the girls they will enjoy the hell out of it.
I have similar issues for her helmet. It warped while I was working on *** and the peak on the forehead caved in and there is almost no room for her face if I put on the visor. I might have to cut and adjust her helmet. 2 questions though. Where did you find the toy guns to mod and what do I use for a visor?
