Just realized that you named this project as 'McQuarrie Concept' when the drawing is a Johnston one (No. 10):



(Note: some of the images were flipped, this is why the rangefinder is on the left and not on the right side.)

The image explanation was taken from the other page just to show who draw what, but even the styles are different between McQuarrie and Johnston.

I hope I didn't sound out of place or something.

kit in my spares box for over a decade. Finally found an interesting use for part of it.

I really love seeing works like this. You've done very good, as you always do!

That said, I am looking forward to seeing a visor installed. And better pics! You have access to a MUCH nicer camera!

...AND an actual background. I love Frasier, but I can't stomach Friends. Handle it lol!

Thanks, all! I received the visor a while back, but I was working on a commission so
I put this helmet on the back burner. I finally had a chance to install it, so here are
some finished pics!

I went with a standard shade 3 welding visor for this project.

Here are a couple of angles of the back.

Two closer shots to show some of the multi-layer weathering.

This was a really interesting side project. I'm a big fan of the concept artwork from the OT
and I had a lot of fun bringing one of those concept sketches into the 3D world.

This helmet doesn't really fit in with the rest of my collection though, and I'm going to offer
it up to a good home in the Cargo Hold. If you're interested, look for the FS post.
