Staggz' Din Djarin Pre-Beskar and Beskar build

So, I have way too many EFX helmets. I bought a few hoping to mod them and get them perfect.

It’s a decent ways from perfect yet, but here’s what I’ve got so far. Working on modding the visor to look right currently. I have a whole post on therpf explaining what I’m doing to it and why, I’ll import that here.

Long time no post…. Still working tirelessly on this guy. Sold some of my pieces from Great Ape and am now working on a ChamanleonFX set. Here’s those pieces. Helmet and other pieces being worked on as well but otherwise it’s almost done!

Coming along nicely!

Just curious what made you go with the ChamanleonFX parts?

Sean
Thank you!

So, I love Great Ape’s pieces. As a matter of fact, im still going to be using Great Ape’s shoretrooper style shoulder, knee, and hip plates (and for now the shin but I think im going to eventually replace that too with chamanleon).

I have been obsessed with the pre-beskar for a while and actually helped Chamanleon with these new files. And based on the information I know, they’re honestly unbelievably close to the real deal.

For example, here’s just an example of the shape difference in the Chamanleon and the Great Ape. The more dynamic shape of the Chamanleon is so much closer to what I know about the pre-beskar. For reference the Chamanleon piece is scaled at 102% and the Great ape is scaled at 115%. I also will have full pics of me wearing both sets soon for comparison.

Got another piece done! This is the Chamanleon left thigh.

I then printed Great Ape’s right shoulder and went ahead and finished that too. I went for a brighter blue than the screen used, purely just because I think it makes the whole thing pop.

I’ve also decided on swapping out the Chamanleon gauntlets for the great ape ones. I’ll be printing those soon as well, along with possibly a secondary option for the left shoulder.

Hey y'all, feels insane to be posting in this thing so many years later, but I am indeed trying my best to finish this guy up. I ended up working on some other costumes, and this guy has just kinda been sitting. Thankfully, I was able to get some pieces finished and in that REALLY made me want to get this guy completed.

First, I completely abandoned the EFX helmet and was able to source a lineage helmet to a screen used cast. This is it right now, and ears should be cleaned up and put on in the next few days or week.

Next is a custom made chest piece that I had completed by a modeler who has chosen to stay anonymous, and I had my good buddy Jack Rupert make a small modification to for me. The chest "should" be one of, if not, the most accurate pre-beskar chest currently available, and I plan to offer casts of it eventually. This is just the test print I will be using for my costume for a couple of months until that mold is done. I repainted my thigh plate from ChamanleonFx to match it. I'll get some detail shots of the thigh and chest later, but this is what I've got for now.
