Anyone know who/where I can get a bala calva? And is it ESB screen accurate?

Man Of War sells one that is pretty accurate. I don't believe it was used in ESB though. Another thing you may want to consider is that it will make the inside of the helmet hotter.

Yea that was another thing I was trying to find out, if it was ESB used because I've seen some people with it but most without. And you're definitely right about it being hot, I didnt even think about that

Ive looked into the MOW one and i really like the idea of it. If I bought one I probably would opt out on the seal part so that I at least get some air flow. But its a nice looking piece thats for sure.

I actually plan on doing the opposite. I'm going to use the seal at the minimum even with the heat so that my beard and chin don't stick out while I'm talking. I may use the balaclava just to keep my ears tucked in and make it easier to get the helmet on and off.

I too have a good sized beard so I haven't thought about that! Maybe I should look into the seal.

I have a decent beard that would poke out if I didn’t wear a balaclava.

I use a Simms light grey sun gaiter. It blends nicely with my neck seal and is very breathable.
