Scratch Built Jetpack ??

I have been looking at all the posts on this that I can. It looks like most people use house hold parts, or stuff you can find at Lowe's.

Does anyone have a list of all the parts needed to make a JP?

and a template would be great.

Thanks

Making the jet pack is a pretty esoteric art it would seem. That's my next project and I may make templates available once I get the sizing down.

Child's ball - thruster balls
Trimmed funnel - thruster cones
Pop cans - fuel tank tops and bottoms (Sorry, that's soda cans for you Yankees):)
I'll be sure to update when I get mine started

Ah yes, have you seen the Canadian test?

You are Canadian if:
1. You're not offended by the term "HOMO MILK".

2. You understand the phrase "Could you pass me a serviette, I just
dropped my poutine, on the chesterfield."

3. You eat chocolate bars, not candy bars.

4. You drink Pop, not Soda.

5. You know what a Mickey and 2-4 mean

6. You don't care about the fuss with Cuba. It's a cheap place to go for your holidays, with good cigars and no Americans.

Soilman, where is So. Missouri?

Look at the center of the US map you will se Missouri. Kinda funny looking state with a boothill. Go to the Southwest corner of Missouri you will see a city called Springfield. Like the Simpsons. You will see a Interstate 44 runnin' through it. Go West on I-Fodeefo about 25 miles and you might see a speck called Halltown. I live about 5 miles West of this little wide spot just off the old Route 66.

But most of the time you can just say Branson USA and everyone knows where I'm at. :)

Thanks for the parts ideas. Keep'em comin'.

I know exactly where you are. I live in St. louis. We were just in Branson last week with my wife's dance studio for a national competition. It's nice to know there are more people from MO than just me!

Darkjedi....

What did you use the dowling and the duct tape for? Those parts aren't on the one you partially made for me so I want to be sure I add them.

And the answer to how many pop cans is 3 on each side. I guess everyone knows what country I'm from now......I think I'll go have some gravy on my french fries....~grin~
