Salamanderking RF servo help

Hey guys I recently acquired a salamanderking RF servo but I have a couple of questions about it as I bought it secondhand and I'm pretty new to this. The control switches and board are already installed in the gauntlet.
1. Do I need anything else than whats in my kit such as whats required in the zipzap tutorial?
2. The servo turns 180 deg at a time ,should it? and do I need to adjust this?
3. Whats the extra stuff in my kit for?
4. Servo gets really hot is that normal?

PM Salamander King. He's always gotten back to me relatively quick. I didn't have servo problems but did with my RF lights and he knew exactly what it was and with his help was able to get it working. Good luck!

Hey F4R I used the servo arm attachment mentioned in the zip zap tutorial but I got mine from a Canadian site "robot shop" I think it was. They only charged me something like $10 to ship the $10 part to Australia whereas the site mentioned in the tutorial were going to charge $60! This setup worked great but was a fast movement up and down and I had to use the on/off switch to stop the servo otherwise it would try to keep going and kill the life of it. I have since upgraded to SK's new kit and it's great, adjustable rotation length and speed but I haven't changed mine out of the box. Fantastic!
