ROTJ hero jetpack

New Hunter
I’m repainting my jetpack and trying to get the underside correct. I have the XLR socket and push button switch purchased however it’s the degree of damage and weathering. I’ve enhanced the image from ROTJ and contrasted that with a recent image from display. My intention is to apply only minimum damage as the damage on the recent pic seems not to be present during filming. Does this seem a reasonable approach ? I don’t intend to leave the grill off though
