Possible Rocket Pack Stabilizer Found?

It looks like that the stabilizer is a pre 80's Paasche (speculation) Airbrush pressure cup cap. It has the same shape, knurled top, and even the hole in the top. Can this be the direction to look to find the correct one?.

What do you guys think?

Looks like this is the right direction. I started looking at airbrushes and noticed the piece between the pot and the gun on airbrushes like this. http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/203734393/airbrush_gun/showimage.html


It isn't the exact piece, but it does have the longer middle portion like the stabilizer. Maybe one for a smaller pot would be what we are looking for.
