Been quite busy but I will post a little pic (taken by a potato) I took this afternoon after I did some tweeking on the gauntlet.

A little bit of progress, attachment of the ear pieces. Still have a bit to cut out on the visir and on the keyholes.

le1120 there's a difference on the placement with the rangefinder compared to the Boba helmets, as you can see on these pics from the Star Wars Celebration

No he has it in the right place...........Jango and Boba helmets are different.

There are several differences between the two helmets. The ear is one of the more noticeable ones. But it is one that is often missed.

Thats what this place is for...........to learn more about screen accurate Fetts

Question:

Do you apply the pinstripe before or after the weathering on the helmet?

Apply the pin stripe after painting and before weathering.

Any advice on how to do it as smoothly as possible Mullreel? without getting a wave on your forehead

Start near the range finder and then just work your way very slowly around the dome. Slightly stretch the pin stripe as you stick it to the helmet so that there won't be any wrinkles
