Painting helmet dome

Hey guys,

I was wondering how you would paint a dome to a bright shine like jangos... I'm looking at a gelcoat and fiberglass helmet but have no idea on what paints to use for the dome. Rub-n-Buff? Spray paint? Any suggestions?

I've used the automotive paints - duplicolor seems best. Make sure to get a good primer.

I've also found that a lacquer based undercoat can help with creating a metallic look that shines.

If done correctly, from what I have seen nothing compares to good ole Rub n Buff. search Cruzers you tube video tutorial
