Here's my rifle. I apologize for the big pics..

The PVC pipe for the barrel is about 12 1/4". This may not be exact, but I figure it's too late to change it now!

The Evergreen plastic strips (#189) can be ordered from the following website, but you should be able to find them or something close at a local hobby store, like HobbyTownUSA.

NOTE: This is by no means a 'movie-accurate' replica. I made this a few years ago before I had access to all the MoM exhibit pictures. But I have no intention of redoing it, either. I LOVE the way it turned out.

Eric, I never knew that you made a scratch-built blaster...AND IT'S AWESOME! I love it! If you said that you didn't have access to the MoM pics by that time...GOSH, that's close to perfection!

I used a Crossman air pistol from Wal-Mart for the base. The only true 'reference' photo I had was from the BF magazine, that had a decent shot of the barrel from the front. By that time, I had already put on eight ribs, which I thought was correct. I had to trash the barrel, sand it down again, and glue TWELVE instead.

The only thing I'd like to replace is the 'D' piece that connects the stock to the rifle. I used two sheets of Sintra and JB Welded them together. It's sturdy enough for display, but not quite strong enough for everyday usage. I have to be real careful when I troop. It's hard to explain to a kid, "No, you can't hold the gun, because it might break in the middle."

Someone makes those 'D' connectors in aluminum, I think. But I'm not sure what mods I'd have to make to the rifle to support a different piece.

You should be able to make one out of aluminum. If you have a jigsaw and some files, you're all set. Use the current one as pattern, cut it out, file it, screw it on, done!

Hey all, I jsut wanted to chime in and say thank you, especially to BatNinja. I used his reference pics and measurements as a base for the begining of my gun. I have the barrel cut, the ribs placed and just got the material for the stock friday.

I also had another member send me some pretty awesome reference pics of his actual webley laid next to a ruler(thank GOD for Autocad and the Scale>reference command!).

Things are rolling.

hey, i was just wondering what color the ROTJ blaster butt was...is it brown , or is it black like the rest of th blaster. thanks for the help.

Is the blaster in that photo a "stunt blaster"? It looks weird. I did a dark wood stain on mine. IMHO I think it makes it look more realistic.

It may likely be a stunt blaster. The pics are from AoSW. That blaster appears to be solid resin (not sure about the stock and connector plate) including the scope. It is definately not a real Webley.

True, but painting it this color would not necessarily be the wrong color, The stock is also this color in Jabba's palace, but not when He flies over to luke on the sail barge. There are so many variations of Boba Fett what is right or wrong and you really knows?

The 'stock plates' are older style British power outlet socket parts.FYI

The split plugs were used on the ESB blaster as stock plates, but the ones used on the ROTJ blaster were parts off the visible V-8 model.

Can someone tell me what the W&S Flare Gun, usualy is going for ? I might have access to one, but the guy asks around 400.- EURO for a non-functional one.
