Hey everyone.
I've joined a group who have Fett and Trooper armour and raise money for charity events. I'm just plain clothes staff at the moment but I want to add to their ranks as RC-1207 "Sev".
I am a 3D graphic designer so making stuff virtually is easy for me but getting those designs into the real world a a bit beyond my skills. Sadly 3D printing at a full body scale is massively expensive still but I think I could make some decent molds for vacuum forming.
Thing is I need a vacuum former. I've seen the DIY ones and I don't trust myself to build one of those either so does anyone have any links to commissioners or companies that I can give designs/molds to and they do the forming? I'm in England so hopefully that narrows the search a bit and I have been emailing plastics companies to see if I get any bites.
Any suggestions?
