My semi complete re-done Jango

Pooper

Hunter
It will be a day long remembered, I have seen the end of my old Jango and started building the new :)

I got fed up of my old costume because only a few pieces on it I actually liked. The only parts I am keeping is my BKBT vest (very nice) and gauntlets which I paid $500 for when they first started popping up on ebay many moons ago. And temporarily the girth belt, ammo belt and holsters, when I start getting some money rolling in I will go to RA to replace those.

I have sent my recently accuired JD helmet, thigh and shin armour off to Beetlefix to paint so it will match all the other fibreglass armour I bought from him. Today my flightsuit from Bobamaker turned up so I made a start on assembly. Very fiddly trying to dress a mannequin with non stretchy clothing :angry I may keep the current helmet to practice painting.

Anyways here's the ettempt so far:

..excellent, cant see u wearing your fett.
great jump siut and nice gauntlets too ;)

i am sure u will be very satisfied with beetlefix work. i got my cod and back piece from him. very good fiberglass work !!! (hello beetlefix ;) )

Looks promising man! :)

Keep us informed.

Although it's on the early stage, don't forget the weathering, those gauntlets will look fantastic then.

BTW: are the upper leg armor plates the right sizes? look a lil bit small, but may be optically only seem like that as the codpiece is missing.

No I'm scrapping those thighs. They are made of sintra and all my new armour is fibreglass. I just put them on for the hell of it.
I will hopefully be getting my stuff back from painting in around 2-3 weeks.

Thanks Mason.
I have since sold that belt and holsters and bought an RA belt from OSK. Beetlefix has almost finished the JD bucket so I just need to save up for a back plate and holsters.
I will start work on the blasters as soon as I finish repainting that old helmet with some heavy duty weathering. About time I started to put all these tutorials on the site to good use. It's still in the early stages, I have sanded it, primed and put 3 layers of Plasti-Kote silver down and bought the Susan Scheewe blue masking fluid (thanks to Pavespawn' thread). I'm going to try rub 'n buff for the final layer. As soon as it's done I'll post some pics.

Well almost there now. Just need to attach the upper ear cap on the rf side to hold the stalk, paint new longer non-rf side cap and mess around with the helmet alignment..oh and get the holsters.

The armour is actually Boba's hence little curvature.

Comments guys?

Looking good. is that a judge dwed thigh armor? looks awesome!

Thanks Seeker
It's JD thighs, shins and bucket. The mannequin is about 6'3" so I'm pleased with how the bucket looks on it.
It is quite a bit more weathered than what's showing. Just came accross my gasket so will have to affix that too.

looks very good, you might wanna darken the rope belt a little... that's all the advice I can give...

looks really good :)

Awesome man !! I love them, going to see them in Birmingham for the first time next March.
That avitar is one I made to have into a tattoo.

Saw A-HA on Sunday and they put on such a great show.....anyways back to SW...RBF, you are right about darkening the belt. Ideally I would like a leather one but it will do for now.

I know you mention the thighs, shins and bucket are JD, but what about the shoulders and chest? I know you said they were boba's... but are they fiberglass as well?

Helmets almost done. I have bolted the ear-caps & antenna on but having trouble getting hold of Beetlefix to find out what colour blue he used so I can finish off the new cap JD sent me. That's the only thing (and finding a big box) that's stopping me puting it up for sale.
