Yet another part of the overall suit is done. Hooray:thumbsup:. After I guestimated the measurements from different tutorials and scaled out a couple of pictures, it only took me a couple of days, two dye sessions, and some sewing to finish. Here it is.

Thanks. It shrank:confused, even though I prewashed and dried the fabric beforehand to aviod shrinkage. The length is ok but it is only about 26" wide now, and I don't think I'll ever be able to wash it again... don't trust fray check. It came out in the wash even though it says only alcohol will take it out.

The dye I used for the orange section was Dylon: Burnt Orange. I let it soak in the dye bath overnight, then rinsed and dried. It doesn't look like it in the pic but It was really bright. After I sewed it all together I thought it all needed to be darker so I used close to a whole bottle of Rit: Tan on the whole thing. I only left this in for around a half hour to an hour I dont remember the time on this one. For the weathering I used thinned, water based, acrylic paint and a spray bottle.

Thanks. I'm almost there. I just finished up the modifications on the ammo belt boxes from the belt I bought. I'll be posting pics of them later.
