Hey peeps, been a while, real life getting in my way....I plan to do some more on this in the next week or so...This project is still very much alive, just can't afford to rush it...Need to do Montross the level of care he deserves.....

Just sorting out a test fitting and then pictures up for clearance in the week, not disappointed with my first test fitting though \m/

Wow, thats actually a very good Build!

Finally was about **** time to see a decent Montross!

The only thing you could do improve is on the hold of cape.
What type of Cloth did you used for that?

Thanks for the kind words Jaro. Can't remember the fabric, it was the same as the fabric for the vest. Still needs further weathering. This was the first test fit, to see what I need to tweak . So so close

tipp: I recently finished my Jaster Mereel ( http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=45259&p=656441&viewfull=1#post656441 ) and made the Cape last week ^^

i used a heavy Linen Cloth with a raw webbing to prevent flabbing too much around. Light cloths tend to do that ^^.

So For weathering i can suggest several methods.

1. Anglegrinder: Wrap it tight together and make some cuts with an motorized angle grinder - only peripheral
2. Pyroeffects: wrap the cape together including some fireworks ( careful)
3. Fire: nothing shows more signs of burnings.... than burnings i dunked my cape in some Aceton and set it on fire for a second befor throwing it into a bucket.
4. hang it on the rearbumper of your car and take a drive though the woods

lesser dangerous methods:
1. appliyng a little haze of brown and black spaypaint to tone the cloth down
2. black shoewax or old fat ^^

the possibilities to **** something up are endless .

No to gauntlets m8, Montross does not wear any, he is pretty much the one and only Mando who has very little in the way of armour, he's like a Mando Marine
