Currently they are waiting for their silk supplier to re-open, should be at the end of the month. When that happens they will be making more. This is what they told me when I called. There is currently a waiting list for those interested.

I had heard about this and was interested in possibly getting on the waiting list, do you have any idea what the price on it was (i've heard between 100-200) or which of their shops would carry them?

Call them at 1-212-319-8100, ask about the joker tie. It's $150, and roughly $170 shipped. None of their shops carry it. It's a word-of-mouth thing.

Just thought of this...

I did this as an experiment before I found this thread. This is 100% white cotton fabric with an iron on transfer using a very old hex pattern. One picture has the flash on and the other does not. Hopefully, through my mistakes, everyone can see a few things. One, the iron on transfers come out rotten and stiff. Two, the white of the material does change in appearance due to the pattern and lighting.

I hope this is a helpful example.

I think our shirts are going to be the best around in every way!!!

I don't think there's a price set in stone yet, but it's going to be around $24 a yard, which includes the custom printing and the fabric it's printed on.

The shirt transfer pattern really shows how the pattern can affect the base fabric. Great photos!

OK...since we have so many experienced costumers/clothiers here on this thread, can anyone answer as to what kind of pattern that the Joker's shirt actually is? I mean, is it just a regular long-sleeved dress shirt, or does it have any noticeable design "quirks" that make it unique, like his long coat does?

If it's just a run-of-the-mill pattern, which one are you folks using (those who are making their own shirts, that is)?

I am using the Simplicity #7030 shirt pattern. I think LSFU posted it too, in a picture of the back of the package...

As far as anything special, I personally have not noticed anything unusual or unique about his shirt in the film...

Other than those beautiful hexagons

Here's a couple pics of the wal mart ties I got for $10. one is the original and the other is the one I slimmed down. its Slimmed down to 1 1/2". which is slimmer than the actual, but It made it really easy to line up and and center all the way through. Make sure you steam the tie, then center the tie seams in the back and iron the new crease before you sew the end together. I think it turned out pretty good.8)

Sorry for the bit of haze in these pics. Silk and Flash cameras do not mix. So I shot these manualy.

I do like the Wal-Mart tie, I saw it back in February and just never bought it.

I think the Zazzle tie is the best bet. The Turnball tie is the same but perhaps different colors.

Has anyone found identical fabric to that of the overcoat?

for those trying to get a shot of the inside jacket, you get a good shot here. seems quite simple really, a grey blazer with a blue hue to it. could be the lighting.

you'd only see parts of it briefly anyway so it may not be too important

oh, and this is a make-up test i did a while ago for new years, dressed as joker obviously!! heh, but it was a good time to test make-up. now i'm making latex scars so it should be better!!!

lemme know what y'all think! the shirt is completely wrong! i was wingin it!

i'm gonna get extensions this year, dye my hair blonde then rough in green lightly so its messed up!

Anyways whats the score on these shirts? When are we ordering and is there a delay on the hexagon design still or is that finished up?

This is hands down THE BEST picture I have seen to show the real colors in natural lighting. No filters or alterations.

cheers! i found that make-up was just mixing with the white so it just went grey, so i pasted myselfin girls eye-liner! yep, even so far as actually applying the eyeliner as it should be used so that the rim of my eyes were dark. basically thumbed it all about and 'drew' the rest of the detail in.

the make-up looks so rushed in the film but y'know it really isnt, there's details in there that ya just gotta get down. it's such a simple yet comples make-up job.

Kwally....have you found out if the fabric will be 45" or 60" wide? How much I order, will depend on how wide the bolt is going to be....
