Jango Rubies 2 piece

hey all just want to share my experience with a rubies helmet I got real cheap on ebay.

I did a rubies first because i didn't want to get a expensive kit and mess it up. So I decided to practice on the rubies.

I used plumbers pvc glue to attatch the two pieces...then used plumbers cement to back up the seam on the inner seam. then used two screws to secure the sides..

did a lot of sanding and then painting....

on the exterior i used bondo glazing and spot puddy....it worked well, but you can still see the seam a little on the edges of the dome and a couple places where i mest up a bit...

but i think you can see it's much improved from the standard two piece rubies..

Great job there buddy. It looks much better than the plain old mass manufactured rubies.

AHHH it's alive... I have brought the thread back to life...

Anyway, I have a question about the 2 piece.. Is it smaller or larger or the same as the Deluxe? I have the deluxe and it fits me, but as usual, it warps.
Besides that I wanna' make a few custom Mando's.

Any help on sizing would be appreciated.
