ISO: Slave 1

Looking to make my own Slave 1, either pepakura or model kit. has anyone seen anything like this?

I know on the RPF there are quite a few people who have completed models, especially the Finemolds or Bandai ones, but also at least one who made his from scratch like the original. I myself have a finemolds one sitting around, but haven't had the time to properly pay attention to it.
