Help buffing clear coat orange peel

I 2k clear coated my helmet on top of black gloss. There are some orange peel sections and areas not super glossy. I think my best course of action is to buff it. Any recommendations on how to do that.

The black gloss has been dried for months and the 2k one week so far

Update, in case someone else find themselves in this situation. I hit the high parts ( area I can feel with finger) with 2000 sand paper. Then did the whole helmet at 3000 sand pad. I then using a polish compound and lots of elbow grease and that did the trick.
