Hello Everyone...
I wanted to take a few moments and introduce myself. My name is Josh and I live in the central Florida area. I'm a professional illustrator and graphic artist. Most of my time when not spent at my computer drawing, is usually taken up by working on my gear, or out toy hunting.
Obviously I'm new to the Dented Helmet. I've been on the Mando Mercs boards and CloneTrooper forums for quite some time. I've been working on a Mando set for the last year and a half with a couple of my close friends. I'm pretty much doing as much of it as possible on my own piece by piece. I've been sewing my own flight suit, flak vest, etc. I've also custom dyed my belt pieces and have been making soft accessories out of leather. My buddies and I have also been making all of our plates from scratch as well using ABS molds we've made. So far, it's going fairly nicely. And we're having a great time doing it. I'm hoping to use all of my experience doing this first Mando set to eventually give me more confidence to do an official Jango set.
I'm really pushing hard to try to finish everything so I can officially "reveal" my set at Megacon in Orlando in April.
I'm really looking forward to talking to more of you and getting to know you. I hope as I learn from your experiences and 'know-how'... that eventually I'll also have experiences and ideas to help some of you.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little about me.
