Good Masking Fluid

Can anyone reccomend a good one, im using Micro Mask by Microscale Industries and it pulls a lot of paint up when being removed.

I have used winsor&newton masking fluid and also grumbacher Misket liquid Frisket for my masking.

a lot of guys use the windsor & newton stuff, but i prefer to use good old fashion toothpaste.

windsor & newton works great. let the paint set overnight before you peel off the masking and you won't have any paint lifting

okay, I looked this stuff up and it looks great, in-fact I believe I'm excited I can get it here in NZ! Just what i need for my helmet paint-up... no more killed brushes.... sweet

Thanks for the help everyone, Im gonna go with the windsor and newton, I know they sell It at Jerrys Artarama along with the graphite paper.

if they have the grumbacher its orange which works out better than the almost clear windsor and newton

Thats my biggest problem with the windsor & newton, when your remasking areas its quite easy to miss bits as it dries clear, and you only find out after youve painted and removed it :facepalm

I swear by the Windsor and Newton's, but that Masquepen looks very intrigueing for small details.
I shall pic some up and give it a shot.

BTW- this is the lates Jetpack i painted with W&N masking fluid;

I use the masquepen to do all the outlining and the small details but I use plain old liquid latex from the model railroad section to do any large areas and fill in the outlined ares I did with the masquepen. The latex is $15 for a pint. cheap.

yes i did.
I don't know if i like it though.
The splatter seems to obvious in the sunlight and at a right-angle.
It's mire subtle when not viewed head-on.
This is an in progress pic before some weathering was added (The splatter is already there)

For those of you who use the Winsor & Newton, what is the specific name of the fluid you use? I have found multiple on their website (art masking fluid, colorless art masking fluid, permanent masking medium, etc.) and I am a bit confused about what to buy.

art masking fluid has a yellowish white tint to it.
