So. . .
Much like the decision to make my gunstock a natural wood grain, I have also decided to make the thrusters on my ROTJ jet pack gold. Yet another "artistic liberty" I'm taking to add a certain uniqueness to my Boba. I'll never get into the 501st with a costume like this but who really cares??
No offense to the 501st. Someday I'll send in my application when I have a completely film accurate costume, but that will have to wait.
I really want to make a Boba costume with a little more flare. I imagine if he had the money, this might be something he would do to pimp his ride a little more. I've even considered doing a complete overhaul on my armor to give it gold plating. I would still do the regular paint job on top of it, but everywhere that normally had silver showing through would then be gold.
Just a thought.
