Gauntlet Hose Question

Hey

Could someone tell me what kind of hoses are used that attach to the gauntlets? I feel like I've seen them before in the real world, but I can't identify them from memory. Do they have a specific name/type?

Any help is appreciated!

I used a hose from Loews - plumping department - think it was 3/8" "braided" pvc hose.

I also picked up a 1/4 inch - 3/8 inch hose adapter - it was like $2.50 - dremmeled the screw threads off so it would rest flush with just the "bolt" piece showing and attached it using that. I painted the nozzle the same color as the gaunts. Came out pretty nice.

The 1/4 inch was for the threads
The 3/8 inch was for the hose end

If that makes sense...
