Now if you can believe this, the ears have proven to be the most difficult parts so far. Mainly because the paints are thin. I will have to go over them again for more of a darker look. Just like I plan to do when Im nearly done...do some touch up work on the whole lid.
Dave,
Can you take a zoomed in close up of the left ear area so I can see the sizing of that decal?? Looks like it fits pretty good actually but I can't tell.....
dude, seriously, you have got the hang of this...your lid is really looking fantastic, brother!! must have been that mystery lid you bought, being able to see some quality reference pics in person... but really, it is coming along quite nicely...
I told him he could do it too ... but that's Dave. He just doesn't listen :rolleyes
You are doing an awesome job man. I don't want to hear you selling yourself short anymore .. cuz now I KNOW it's bullhockey Oh, and Dave, you might want to stow that lifecast of your head somewhere out of sight. It keeps getting in the pictures. I don't think you want people to see your goofy mug now do ya
Lookin' good Dave! I should get some work done today as I'm staying home from work due to the snow. I hate driving in Indiana when it's snowing...you'd think people had never seen snow here before!
Well the kids are in bed, workout done and time to paint. I really wanna try to work on this everynight to have this done before my JP gets back. Then the costume will be done.
I put on the killstripe damage, top scratch and some dome damage. Hope you guys like it.
Disclaimer: My camera skills suck. So if you think my helmet is a 2, at least give me a 4. Ive messed with lighting, the flash, everything. Im about ready to shoot it with my Glock.
