FINISHED/WEATHERED CABOOTS W/TOE SPIKES

hey all, really making some progress on my costume...i have what i feel completed CAboots for some input...i used artist compressed charcoal to darken them up, and some good ol' fashioned oklahoma dirt to get more of a grungy look...used rust colored Testor's model paint to do the spikes (made by RussRep) , along with Gunmetal Testor's paint to grimey them as well...let me know what you guys think...

FD, are you going ROTJ or ESB? If you're going ESB, I think you need to make them overall darker. I don't have a good shot handy, but there's a shot fro the ESB bridge scene where you can see them suckers are WAY dark! I have CA Boots too, and am weathering them up. I don;t have any toe spikes yet, I'm going to make my own, but I'll see if I can snap some pics. They look good btw, particularly the spike weathering! :cheers

i am going ESB, brother...so overall darker? wow, i actually thought i might have made them too dark...ill take a look at that scene you are talking about, and if you have pics that would be fantastic!! thanks so much guys!!
