Hey Alex. do you know if there exists any clearer pictures of the sidearm that may or may not get shown given time, or is Nate's pic basicaly it? i dont know if ya wanna answer that or not.

Hey BFS1....nice website....
I took the liberty of contacting this Website Directly.....and I am speaking with Ron ...and he is having some of his buddies help Identify the sidearm based on the pictures I've sent him....
If nothing else he can get us better all-around shots of the current nemrod spear guns or others to help eliminate those as well.
Good idea!!!!! That might actually get us somewhere finally!!!!! Very eager to hear what their thoughts are on this!!!

yeah, nice move spidey.
i have no doubt that the nemrod holster is the one we found already though. you can even see the long molded tubing support in the clear picture above.
i had contacted a guy that handled quite a few spear guns over the years, but he said he never saw one like it, but would let me know if he sees something similar.
got a strong feeling this sidearm will soon no longer be a mistery.

The Corsario looks to be a good match for the grip. Better pictures are needed to find out if it has the split trigger guard. I'd have to say that the Galeon Clipper was the base for the Bespin Security blaster. Just a guess, but I think the prop makers had both the Galeon Clipper and the Fett version (whichever that was) and went with the Galeon Clipper for the Bespin blaster. It would be much easier to mold and copy without the split guard. Fett's seems to be an original and not a cast copy. The butt of the grip looks to be filled in.

I think you're right, there are two separate guns, Bespin and Fett.

"Boba Phat" is now trying to confuse us all.
There is no Galeon Clipper.
It's either a Nemrod Galeon, which was used for the Bespin guards,
or a Nemrod Clipper. And there is a Mini Clipper with short barrel and a regular Clipper with longer barrel.
the corsario uses the same grip/handles as the galeon, no match.
And talking about making copies, i would prefer to find the real thing used. There must be some out there, same with a galeon or a clipper popping up every once in a while, unless they molded a one off piece for Boba Fett starting from scratch...
does a better photo exist of the end of the barrel that is sticking out from the holster?

Ya thats the weird part it does look filled in but the grip is extremely thin compared to most pistol grips (SEE PICS IN SEEKERS THREAD) it looks like its only an inch wide at the most.
also we should keep an eye out for white grips. in Nates pic it looks like actual paint chipping off the guard.

Guys,not to be rude or to straight forward but this thread is getting off track.
Ok so someone apparently has the "holy grail" photo of the weapon in question and for whatever reason wont share it.Big deal ...life goes onlet us not lose focus.We dont need that stinking photo anyway.I am sure between the "Brain Trust" here a even BETTER photo to help will surface.

Mike, if you have seen the photos... you can't get better than what was shown and its not just a photo!! a member has the real deal...in hand.

After I posted my oppinion I decided to join the fourm where the photo in question is at to take a look.It is "dead on" for what everyone is searching for.
I guess the big reason for the wording of my oppinion was that it did not seem understandable why not to share a photo of a piece that would put alot of folks minds at ease.Almost like a big "nah..nah you cant see".
Like many here I have spent countless hours searching and double guessing if I had found the right image.Then to be told I had one more herdle to jump just to see a photo seemed frustating.But I finally saw it and hopfully it will be shared here at the 'Dent.
The person whom owes this piece is very blessed to have found it and own.After I saw what to looked like I spent about 3 hours looking up every possible "Google" search on this speargun to find a photo of the speargun to post here.But apparently the owner has the ONLY image of this speargun.But I am sure I just have not found the right link to view it.
I will say that the speargun used is VERY close to about 10 different ones with of course doing some major modifing to the barrel and compoments but the grip and trigger housing are very close to the orginal one used in the movie.
I would like to apologize if my straight forward comments have offended anyone.Sometimes I type just as fast as I think then I hit the "submit reply" without taking a sec to review and think what it might "read" like.
