Etsy Vendor?

I will try to go back and find the post. I have no knowledge of actual bans or anything that is why I said "I think".....let me see if I can find it so you can defend yourself.
This was the first time I had ever seen the etsy shop and I was just relaying what I had read.



and of course I go to the mercs board and they are down.

I had a shop helper for the last couple of weeks because I got so far behind. I did have a couple of helmets returned because of the left ear and one that was to small. I had no reservation in refunding money on those helmets. They were sent out and I just didnt catch it.
My feedback on Ebay is nearly at 4000 and is flawless !!
Raizo you are correct...my Boba fett is not perfect. Everything I offer can or could be better in some way! Each time a mold starts to wear out I go back to my original/master and make improvements. You were the first person to chime in and said AVOID...with out any explanation or reason. Have you ever had my helmet in your hands to see for your self if someone should "Avoid" buying one? Several members here on TDH have my helmets and were very happy with them. In the future Please have all the facts that are necessary to make that determination before posting to the public forum/thread...I do this full time now and its important to me to make sure I am offering a great product! and not something to Avoid.
In the future before we tell folks to not buy from someone, maybe we should only offer that advice if you have first hand knowledge...

In all honesty if this is what you're sending out then I think that Catbread's 'avoid' carries some weight. This is rubbish: fact.

It's either the result of a bad recast or the result of bad quality control [of the recast]. Either way it's awful. 4000 on eBay has no sway here. eBay tallies only count for eBay and we aren't on eBay; one of your customers posted this asking what we thought and we thought it bad. It is, really it is. If you allowed this tosh to be sent out then it's on you. We're only commenting based on what we have seen and what we have seen is not good.

If you're confident in your product then send me one to review. I'll pay for it; there'll be no loss to you financially.

Again this is not an assassination attempt or anything like that, rather a call for improvement if anything? These are pictures from your 2 different eBay auction listings, as well as a 3rd by someone else who painted and finished your helmet. I am being objective with facts. Consistently, the images of your helmet and their castings all exhibit these deformities; the casts, overall, don't lend themselves TO ME OBJECTIVELY as something that I would recommend.

He was asking for opinions on the helmet, and I responded with 'avoid' because, based on the multiple images you yourself presented in your auctions as well as those of your customers it isn't up to the quality in the price range. Like I said you can get an Animefan for only $30 USD more and not have these issues present.

I'm certain if you just fixed up a few of the issues that I listed here, it would easily pass muster for most of the members. It would take just a bit of resculpting but I think you'd be able to based on your Sabine build that was posted elsewhere here.

There is no reason to lash out about this. I have been civil and just made statements of fact. I read it on a site and had no reason to not believe it. I was presented with other facts and said I was sorry and gave you information to defend yourself. I can only be responsible for the knowledge and facts I have and if I am misinformed then I will gladly take the new info and change my position.

But I can say that someone's reaction to adversity reveals a lot. If you are the stand up guy you say you are then just stick it out and show your quality here on the forums.

I actually just got a bucket from Tommy's etsy page last week.

The left ear cap is a little smooshed/narrow, but I already knew it would be -- the pics on the etsy page were an honest representation. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with it, but then I'm very new --this is my first bucket.

I dont consider defending me and my reputation....lashing out! Im sorry you feel that way. You basicly slandered me ,painted the picture of me as a banned seller on multiple forums. Yep that upset me quite a bit.

I know that you don't care for my opinion but in my opinion; fair enough. Following from this thread I looked into this Mando Mercs thing. From what I read it certainly didn't appear that you had been banned from their group but merely achieved 'unapproved vendor alert' status although in your case the reasons given are not made clear even before the post was edited.

It also seems that some confusion arose about whether you and Galaxy Creations were the same person. My enquiries led me to the fact that you aren't because he operates out of TX and you from TN; there's also the small fact that you appear to look completely different. In my experience that tends to be a giveaway.

I see that the Mando Mercs post in that thread with a link to you etsy page has has now been edited. Presumably the second, removed, paragraph did not actually apply to you but rather the other fellow or was simply untrue?
