This is my first start painting my Boba build. Hope the pic is good enough for any ideas that can be passed along.

not too bad for your first piece! it could be the lighting but from that one picture, i agree the green is a bit dark. if you're set on rattle-cans, Rustoleum makes a matte moss green that is closer to the lighter green that they should be. you may want to tone down the shine with a shot or two of dulcote. also, it looks like one of your dental files is blue? should be silver. definitely on the right track, keep it up!

Everything isn't permanent just getting things in place. I have led lighting in my shop but it is possibly to dark. And I'll change the dental file color. Thanks for the input. We appreciated.

Unless you want to use brushes, I think a complete repaint might be needed. You couple possibly mask off the weathering and chipping and other areas and just go over with a lighter shade of green. Maybe mist it on in layesr until you get the desired color and it sticks to your current coat.

Ok sounds good. I do have liquid mask I can use and my other gauntlet just has a primer base. Thanks for the input.

Looking Great! Just remember that the gauntlets and center chest piece are a different and lighter color than the rest of the armor and jet pack. As stated, Rustoleum Spruce Green satin topped with a matte clear coat is just about perfect. The center chest piece is lighter than the rest of the chest, but not as light as spruce green. I created the tonal shift for the center piece by not misting black and very dark green as I did on the other chest pieces.
