ESB blaster sling swivel attachment question.

Edit: Turns out what I am looking for is some sort of sling swivel.

Only I can't find any that are round. I've been looking for the past hour and a half -- can anyone help me out? Please? :D

Cheers!

Three quick questions:

1) Is the strap on an ESB blaster tied onto the hook?

2) Is it leather? I can't tell and I can't see leather tying easily.

3) Does anyone know of a place that sells the hooks to attach the strap to an ESB blaster? I found screw eyes, but it looks to me like the real hooks can swivel.

Thanks in advance for the help! :)

What the hell, while I'm here -- my blaster so far:

I've got a pretty decent-sized barrel, (good circumference too!:p) Anyway...my WEBLEY barrel measures 7 10/16" (In comparision, starting from where white resin meets the black plastic tube on yours). Placing the MPP tube on the end, however, adds another 4 13/16", that is visibly sticking out of the end of the barrel. Hope this is of help, jeezy.:)

Thanks Nerf-Herder! That helps immeasurably. :)

I'd estimated 9" but forgot to account for shrinkage. So 7-10/16" is it! :D

..Soooo true, or at least that's what my last girlfriend told me...

jeezy -Glad I could be of help :)! The only time I've experienced shrinkage with it, though, was after jumping into a REALLLY cold swimming pool and.....(hopefully, no further explanation is needed here)

where and how much?

the jedi academy tutorial says to use a Tasco (model number RF4x15) is that still accurate by todays TDH standards?

Hey, no problem man. But I got the idea to use it from steveday72 (sorry if I got the screen name wrong) so, you know, credit where it is due.

eBay. You can get one for about $10. I paid $16.90 using B-I-N; I don't have a lot of free time these days to scour eBay for hot deals.

Both ends of the screen-used scope have a flare. Only the eye piece side of the Tasco has the flare. So it's not as accurate as some might like. Others might be happy with it. It's up to you.

What the hell, one last time while I'm here: Can anyone suggest the best way to attach it? :)

Cheers!

It looks like it just has a male/female snap on it and through the hook.I have the awesome bronze replica that Hand Shaub made but it doesn't have the hook so I'll have to add one also.

Cool.

Now the question remains: Where can I find these "hooks"?

Thanks to all for the compliments. :D

And yeah, it's come a long way. Hard to believe it ever looked like this:

What a difference a decent paint job makes!

All that remains is a strap and some better pictures that aren't on a hideous beach towel.

Cheers!
