Collar stud attachment mounting options

For those of you who troop with your Bobafett, I am wondering if anyone is using any type of snap system (buttons and nylon strap or similar) underneath the backplate and collar connections instead of using the actual collar studs to hold everything together? It seems doing this might take a lot of stress off the armor itself while trooping in that collar stud mounting area.

Following, as I'm realizing that if my bolts strip or come unglued from the back armor and start spinning...I'm going to be stuck in that thing lol

I glued my screws to a bottom plate so lining everything up is far easier with the key studs but I have not seen anyone use a different system to connect the back plate to the color.

I used velcro sewed onto my flak vest at the shoulders to secure the backplate and the top part of the collar armor. The front of the collar is attached to my flak vest like the rest of the armor but the backplate's only attachment method is the velcro. You really don't have to worry about the backplate being more secure because the jetpack holds it tightly in place.

With this method I still use the screws for the collar studs but have thought about just gluing them on (outside of the one that the cape relies on).
