General DrToothache's ESB Boba Fett

Thank you Mr EWOK One . The van was not mine, but belongs to the Rebel Legion / 501st Legion in that area. They did a fantastic job with it though!

For the jewelry pin backs, search for "extra strong pin backs" on amazon and they will pop up. They work really well. For the pins themselves, just search for "clutchback pins" and make sure you pick the ones with a wider base for adhering to.

amazing, thank you for the details, all i was seeing was chicago screws, but this helped, I got a 50 pack of fronts and backs, going to do your method.... much appreciated again.

No problem! The pinback method has worked really well for both my Jango and Boba builds. Looking forward to seeing your build come together :)

Just a general update - I haven't posted updates on my jetpack harness project here since starting the cargo hold sales thread. However, since the prototyping process was detailed here I should share final product looks like. A lot of changes have been made since the versions that were posted here. The frames now have accurately sized pre-cut support bars, spot welds and welded rhomboid rings.

Once I finish up the commissions that I am currently working on I will finally allocate one of these to my own build!

Quick accuracy update today. The thigh pouches on this flight suit have always been positioned a few inches too low, which threw off the overall look and crowded the knee armor. I finally relocated them / moved them up to the correct height and took the opportunity to square up their shape to better match the ESB reference. It’s a subtle change, but it makes a big difference.

Here are some before / after pictures:

Huge difference! Spacing above the knees looks great now!
Thank you! I am relieved that its done. I was putting off moving the pouches for the longest time because I knew that it would be a pain to do without undoing the inseams. Actually ended up not being too bad.
