Dome Ideas

I'm positive there are alot of great Ideas on what to use for your dome and was wondering what you guys and gals think is the best route to go, seeing as how I've made a total mess of using the template

Keep looking , you'll find others have used some sort of sports helmet (dome), skate helmet for example.

I used a childs bike helmet. The foam in it makes it not usable as a one off helmet unless you take the time to dig it out, but it worked great as a master for molding. You can check it out over in the clone wars section (I'm doing death watch armor).
