DOH! painting fail

sooooo I wasn’t thinking and painted the whole mandibles on my bucket. My helmet is not CC, I used silver leaf rub & buff for the silver parts.

Do you all suggest I use paint thinner / turpentine to remove then primer, then apply r&b in the lower mandibles or can I go straight to the primer?

Turpentine would probably work. Also just sanding the paint off down to the primer coat would work too. Though I think the hand sanding method may require more effort and be slower than just stripping the cheek parts down with turpentine and reshooting a primer and paint.
