Custom Mandalorian

So normally I would post this on the Mercs site, but it's apparently down at the moment. Either way, I've decided to restart my custom mando costume using plastic rather than foam, and my first big task was the helmet. I made a mold of my Don Post Boba Fett helmet and made a resin copy. It came out ok, not bad for my first resin cast, but it does need some work. Anyway, here are some pics of what I've got so far, and I'll post some concept art soon of what I want the finished product to look like.


And here's the DE-10 pistol I'm making, still in the beginning stages.


So I'd appreciate any feedback, and I'd especially like to know if this build is going to be merc approved.

Not a bad pull of the helmet, slight warping here and there, is it from to DP, the mold or the pull?
your DE-10 is looking good so far.

I'm not sure exactly, but I think the warping is from the mold not being seated down correctly in the fiberglass shell. I'm thinking/hoping I'll be able to fix all that warping with some heat & elbow grease.
