Chest Medallion?

The Medallion that sits between the two chest plates. Is the hole in the middle just supposed to be recessed or is it all the way through so that the flak vest color underneath is visible? Thanks in advance for an answer!

I have no idea, mine is just recessed. I've seen people make their armour both ways. I'm not sure what the real costume is...

I couldn't find any white paint at the time... so I snuck into my sister's room and used her nail polish .

It looks dirty white to me.

I did mine white and ink washed it then black misted

the central piece on my chest was cut all the way through. i put a sheet of aluminum behind it after i painted it so that i could get a nice, clean line between the green and the silver.

This is exactly what I was planning to do if I found out that the hole was just recessed (which seems to be the general consensus)
